This is what we are about!! 

It is no secret  that VA Hospitals Nation wide are under budgeted.  It is also no secret that our hospitals see millions of our soldiers, current enlisted and retired, each and every year.   Each year more money is spent on defense and less in our hospitals where our injured and disabled soldiers come home to .  Some of our soldiers come home injured and stay in the hospitals long enough to heal then return home to their loved ones.  Some of our soldiers come home more seriously injured and permanently disabled and have much longer stays in our VA Hospitals.  The conditions in some VA Hospitals is lacking to say the least.  We at Eagles Nest want to do what we can to help out.  Every year we collect donations, as well as donate ourselves, and take these donations to the Memphis VA Hospital.   While there we hand out "Medals of Sacrifice"  Eagles Nest has made for our injured and disabled veterans that have fought for our country and our freedom.   We then start our journey at Eagles Nest Encampment in Mannford Oklahoma and travel to Memphis Tennessee to the VA Hospital where we hand out these "Medals of Sacrifice" to the brave men and women who have given so much on our behalf.  We are asking you to help us in Memphis hand out the medals and let these soldiers know they are not forgotten and they are appreciated.  Join us on our journey that takes us through not only our own home state of Oklahoma, but also through the beautiful state of Arkansas and into Tennessee.  With over night stops in Little Rock & in Memphis, we honor our veterans with each and every mile.  On Memorial Day Weekend don't  remember just the soldiers that have died for our country , Honor those still with us today as well.
